Alamiya Filmed Entertainment (AFE), an emerging independent film studio based in Riyadh, has unveiled its plans after acquiring Lyra Pictures in 2023. With a refreshed identity and innovative filmmaking approach, AFE is committed to creating compelling stories for global audiences.

Led by Wesam Kattan and Bassma El Afghani, the studio has expanded its presence in Riyadh, Dubai, and Los Angeles. AFE’s strategy blends global expertise with a deep understanding of local culture, producing films that appeal to audiences worldwide.

AFE's upcoming slate includes a female-led action comedy set in Turkey, a biographical film about a Saudi drifter, and a British biopic on an F1 legend, among others. The studio’s diverse film portfolio reflects its commitment to offering unique and varied entertainment.
